Chocolate Truffles Recipe
Ingredients

1 cup of dates (pitted and chopped)

1 cup of almonds or 1/4 cup of almond butter

1 tbsp of coconut oil

1/4 cup of coconut chips

3 tbsp of cacao powder + extra for the truffle coating
Instructions

First, soak the dates in hot water for a few minutes and pat them to dry. If they contain stone, remove it.

Toast the almonds in a pan for about two minutes, or until you smell their nutty scent. If using almond butter, skip this step.

Use a food processor and grind the almonds for a couple of minutes, then add the coconut oil and the rest of the ingredients.

Create small bite-size balls and roll them in cacao powder.

Chill in the fridge for a couple of hours and enjoy!
The texture is creamy and smooth, but if you want them to be more firm (like regular chocolate) then place them in the freezer for a while before eating them.
