Discover the Benefits of Coffee Scrub Soap: A Gentle Exfoliation for Soft and Radiant Skin

This coffee scrub soap provides a gentle exfoliation that removes dead skin cells, enhances circulation, and leaves the skin feeling soft, smooth, and clean.

Coffee is a rich source of antioxidants that help protect the skin from premature aging, while its scrubbing properties promote blood flow for radiant and glowing skin. Additionally, coffee’s stimulating effect may help reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Cocoa butter, with its distinct cocoa aroma, is excellent for naturally healing dry skin. When selecting high-quality butter, choose raw and organic cocoa butter, which is 100% pure and natural.

Soap Making 101: Choosing the Right Ingredients for a Safe and Luxurious Soap

Making soap can be a fun and easy DIY project, especially when using a ready-to-melt soap base. However, it’s important to check the ingredients list to ensure you’re using a safe and high-quality product.

Look for soap bases that are free from harmful chemicals like SLS and parabens, biodegradable, and made with natural ingredients.

Avoid soap bases that contain mineral oil, which can clog pores and cause skin irritation. With the right ingredients, you can create a luxurious and nourishing soap that’s safe for you and the environment.

How to Make Coffee Scrub Soap at Home: A Step-by-Step Guide

Cut the soap base into small cubes and place the soap in a bain-marie, until melted.
In this step, you will need to prepare a double boiler or a bain-marie to melt the soap base. Cut the soap base into small cubes and place them in the top of the double boiler or in a heatproof bowl. Then, fill the bottom pot or saucepan with water and heat it until it simmers. Place the top pot or bowl with the soap base on top of the simmering water and stir occasionally until the soap base melts completely. This process will help you melt the soap base without burning it.
Add the cocoa butter and mix until blended completely.
Once the soap base is completely melted, add the cocoa butter to the mixture. Stir the mixture gently until the cocoa butter is fully melted and blended in with the soap base. This step will add moisture and nourishment to the soap, making it more beneficial for the skin. Make sure to mix it thoroughly for an even consistency.
Add the ground coffee, mix until blended.
Now, it’s time to add the ground coffee to the melted soap and cocoa butter mixture. The coffee ground will give your soap a gentle exfoliating texture, which is perfect for removing dead skin cells and leaving your skin feeling smoother and softer. Mix the ground coffee into the soap mixture until it is completely blended, and there are no lumps. You can use a whisk or a spatula to mix it properly, and make sure to stir it gently to avoid creating too many bubbles.
Pour the mixture into the moulds and spread on top granulated sugar
Once you have mixed the ground coffee into the soap mixture, it’s time to pour it into the soap molds. Make sure to grease the molds with a little bit of coconut oil or any other oil of your choice to make it easier to remove the soap later on. Pour the mixture into the molds slowly, filling each mold about 3/4 full.
Next, sprinkle some granulated sugar on top of the soap mixture in each mold. This step will help to create a slightly coarse texture, which is perfect for exfoliating the skin. You can use as much or as little sugar as you like, depending on your preference.
Once you have added the sugar, gently tap the molds on a hard surface to remove any air bubbles. Then, leave the soap to set for at least 24 hours or until the soap has completely hardened. Once the soap has set, you can remove it from the molds and use it as desired. Enjoy your homemade coffee soap!
Turn out the soaps and wrap with wrapping paper.  Keep up to 6 months
After 24 hours, your coffee soap should be firm enough to remove from the molds. Gently pop them out of the molds and place them onto a flat surface.
Now it’s time to wrap them with wrapping paper. You can use any paper of your choice, but we recommend using a thick, sturdy paper to ensure that the soap is protected. Cut the paper into squares that are slightly larger than the soap, then wrap each soap individually, folding the edges neatly to ensure that it is secure.
Finally, store the wrapped soaps in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. They will keep for up to 6 months if stored properly. Remember that the longer you store them, the less potent the coffee scent will be.
Congratulations, you have now made your very own homemade coffee soap! Enjoy the benefits of coffee on your skin every time you wash your hands or take a shower.
