Israel Travel Blog – Part 2: Tel Aviv, Jerusalem & the Dead Sea

Jerusalem - the holy city

Hey there! This is our second blog post about our travels in Israel. In this post, we’ll be talking about the central part of the country.

You can read more here, about the north of Israel – Haifa, Galilee, and the Golan Heights.

In the centre of Israel, you can find two big cities: Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. You can enjoy both the history of the holy city – Jerusalem – and the beautiful beaches along the coast of Tel Aviv, a young and vibrant city.

There is a lot to see, so we decided to share some of our favourite health and food options.

Tel Aviv

Check out Sarona Market, a very nice food market located near Tel Aviv HaShalom railway station. Sarona Market is a large indoor culinary market that operates seven days a week. There are many different types of cuisines there (we chose Asian food)! In the afternoon, don’t miss the beautiful sunset at the old port of Tel Aviv.

Jerusalem – the holy city

In Jerusalem, you can find the famous market “Shuk Mahane Yehuda”. It is a good place to try some of the local food.

Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is famous all around the world for its health benefits. It is the lowest place on earth, and the water that is high in salt and the mud in the Dead Sea are rich in healing minerals for the skin.

That’s all for now. We hope we inspired you to travel and enjoy nature and good food!

Until next time,
Paz
