Spring is the season of wild garlic, a beautiful plant with a rich history and a wide range of culinary uses. This plant species is often found in ancient woods and has been used in traditional medicines for centuries as a key ingredient in tonics for rheumatic problems and high cholesterol. However, wild garlic is not just a medicinal plant – it is also a popular foraged ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes.

Its leaves have a mild garlic flavor and can be eaten raw in salads, blanched and used in place of spinach, or made into a delicious soup or pesto. And let’s not forget about the flowers – they’re edible too and can add some extra flavor and color to your salads!

In this post, I will be sharing with you a recipe for wild garlic salt, which will help preserve the taste of this plant for the whole year.
