You can eat the leaves of wild garlic raw in salads, blanch them as a spinach substitute, or use them to make soups and pesto.

Recipe: Homemade Wild Garlic Salt

Ingredients for Wild Garlic Salt

250g sea salt

Handful of chopped wild garlic


1.  In a blender, add 100g of sea salt and a handful of chopped wild garlic. Blend briefly to form a thick mixture, creating a salty paste.

2.  Next, mix this paste through the remaining 150g of sea salt until all of the salt has turned a vibrant green.

3.  Spread the mixture out on a baking tray and leave to dry overnight.

4.  Once dried, transfer the wild garlic salt to a jar and store it in a cool, dry place until ready to be enjoyed.

Enjoy your homemade wild garlic salt as a finishing garnish on a variety of dishes, such as roasted vegetables, soups, and salads. The wild garlic flavour will add a delicious twist to your favourite dishes!
